Willie Meikle is a Scottish writer, now living in Canada, with over twenty novels published in the genre press and over 300 short story credits in thirteen countries.

He has books available from a variety of publishers including Dark Regions Press, DarkFuse and Chaosium, and his work has appeared in a number of professional anthologies and magazines, with recent sales to Nature FUTURES, The Mammoth Book of Jack the Ripper Stories (Little Brown), and The Associates of Sherlock Holmes (Titan) among others.

He lives in Newfoundland with whales, bald eagles and icebergs for company. When he's not writing he drinks beer, plays guitar, and dreams of fortune and glory.

I've been playing guitar badly since 1973 and I use it as my relaxation when not writing. I also spend a fair bit of time outdoors rambling with my wife in the wilds of Newfoundland.

And I love beer.

I also love movies and watch at least one a day. I also spend far too much time online reading about Fortean subjects. I'm a sucker for stories of alien grays, bigfoot, lake monsters and all manner of weird shit.
